Not much has been going on lately. Just chillin, literally. It's been cold the last few days and exceptionally windy. That's how east coast autumn is supposed to be though. So far this has been an enjoyable week. Jam and I took Evan to Dutch Wonderland on Sunday and we had a blast. We had never been there so we didn't know what to expect. It is a very nice amusement park for the kiddies. Evan had a lot of fun and pretty much passed out instantly on the car ride home. That's what happens when you refuse to take your daily nap before going to the park I guess. Other than that, we have been doing some things around the house and close to home. After Evan is in bed, Jam and I have been watching some of the primetime shows on tv. One that we both really like is Pushing Daisies. We netflixed the first season last month just before the new season started and really enjoyed it. The first few episodes of this season have been just as good. I also really like Eli Stone. That one just started it's second season after a brief first season last summer. Those are my favorite two shows right now. New science-fiction shows Fringe (on Fox) and Sanctuary (on SciFi) are both good but could be better. Stargate Atlantis is probably my favorite sci-fi show. I just started watching it last year and am bummed that this is going to be it's final year. I also think that the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network is excellent. Most shows returning from last year have been so so. More of the same. Heroes and The Office have both been pretty good.
Jam's mom and aunt are coming to visit this weekend so we are looking forward to that. That will especially be fun for Evan. It's always nice for people to see him in his element. There will be lots of coloring, dancing, playing with toys, couch climbing, reading books, etc. But that's because there always is. I hope to find time to finish reading Angels and Demons. I have been tearing through it this week. It's excellent. Very different from The Da Vinci Code but just as good. I also may go see The Dark Knight at the Whitaker Center IMAX. Believe it or not, I have not yet seen The Dark Knight. I must be one of a few who has not considering it has made something like $525 million.
